Newton's third law of motion states that, for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. In this example, air from the balloon is moving in one direction and the rocket is moving in the opposite direction. This is one of the activities that students' undertook at their home's as a part of their experiential learning during the Covid-19 pandemic imposed lockdown.
We undertook a workshop on the theme of "once upon a science". The workshop explored the science behind classic children's stories. This was undertaken with 50 children from Navarasam academy, Erode and 5 adults as volunteers who immersed themselves in the process of learning.
