Developing new courses

The bridge course was developed- & delivered- for children with learning gaps.  The key stage specific science concepts (12-y) were designed in the form of poetry or stories to make learning, fun. Children's Math- & English- language difficulties were addressed through activities built in their formative assessment.

We engaged with Asha to develop science content for -educators  and -children. The educators manual was developed to aid with classroom based hands-on learning. The activity books for children were for practicing science. The books will be used by >80 government schools across Tamilnadu.

Century old institution in Chennai is home to  our academic program from 2019. Children in the program undertake experiments to conceptualize age- & curriculum- specific science learning. Each topic has 8 different experiments. Teamwork, Record keeping, peer presentations are some key features of the program.

 At Azim Premji Foundation, Puducherry we have conducted workshops for curated topics in Science for -educators and -students.  The workshop model allows the partners to engage with us, flexibly. While the mentors took back new techniques, the students appreciated the experience.

Lady Willingdon institute of advanced study in education is based in Chennai. The institute prepares individuals to become educators. KriVid(ya) partnered with the institute for a workshop on experimental science pedagogy. The young educators to-be were introduced to the KriVid(ya) method of hands-on science.
